What can we learn about our trips to the Dentist and the adversity of Pinocchio’s adventures to cope and ultimately defeat the fear of the Coronavirus?
This period of global unrest presents a great opportunity to reflect on the adversity humanity has faced and overcome before.
In this episode we also consider the horror the occasional Dental procedure and the ominous events which transpired, but often go unspoken, in the “childhood” classic Pinocchio.
NO VACANCY!! The romance of a long weekend’s escape occupies the only room you had left in the anticipation apartment.
As the days come marching in, your heart beat seems to synchronize with the rhythms of a Bourbon Street celebration. You are prepared to depart for a family wedding in New Orleans and to arrive in the middle of a good time.
But first, you must fit a week of work into two days… and, oh yeah, you are bringing your 8 and 6 year old children with you… and, oh yeah, those kids are carrying cartoon-themed luggage as well as strep-throat…
Stress.
We associate it to the bad times, but too often let it snake its way into the special ones.
So, today we ask… How do we minimize stress to maximize the moments that matter most?!
‘GOTTA HEAR ITS’!
“…then, after everyone is celebrating you for great speeches, smiles, high-fives, and hugs… you get strep-throat yourself, and have to carry around two 50lbs bags and a couple of kids all the way from Bourbon Street to Ohio.“
You, or someone you know

Your most treasured memories are entrusted in them. They are your go-to for guidance, when you’re feeling lost. No matter how obscure the question; you look to them for answers. They know your interests, and share some common ones.
Whether delivering a laugh, or drawing out a good cry… You know that you’ve got ’em, right by your side!!
Kinda wild how we all became best friends with our cell phones, right?!?
Maybe you called it…? Either way, connect with Stitch and Stan as they unravel the ONE device that we keep so close our other cells get jealous!!
It has been called a technological marvel and a necessary evil… …but is it technically evil or necessarily marvelous?
‘GOTTA HEAR ITS’!
(1) “What is one fun use of the mobile device? I mean fun too, not like emergency contact information.” [2] “The Weather app is fun! I like to know what’s happening!” (1) “Not my definition of fun, but okay…”
“One time a phone is always safe to use — and more efficient too…?When you’re taking a dump! !”
Have you ever had a moment, so beautifully malleable, that today’s outcomes seem to be yours to cast in the vastness of tomorrow’s best potential possibilities?!
Where society’s rigor, for a moment, can be molded as seamlessly as an infant can of Play-Doh?
Where you can fearlessly face and relentlessly forge the future, with the requisite conviction of Plato?
Where you can shape it, you can bend it, but you will never fold.
For you can manipulate the clay-of-today with the certainty that tomorrow will bring nothing less than a hardened state of your original vision… Memorializing your craft, as if your acts were an everlasting statue gifted to the past… Forever capturing the greatness of the goodness in that single, beautifully malleable, moment.
Have you had that moment? If so, give us a heads up next time!!! Because today Stan and Stitch simply attempted to play with some Play-Doh, which was then overtaken by Plato, who seemingly swayed Michelangelo to shape the possibilities into something far greater than either of us could have perceived!
Friends, join our #RiseBeforeFall campaign… get something outta nothing and so, so much more!!
‘GOTTA HEAR ITS’!
“Sure, I’d want to live forever if I could keep my youth and health”… …”I don’t know man, vampires never seem too happy!”
“He was taking the ‘do as I say, not as I do’ approach to hot yoga? What a bastard!”
“A smile is a million dollars in a world of nothingness.”
ALL SHIPS are given sail by means of an unseen sea of seemingly majestic ebbs and flows.
It forms the bonds that pull; it forged from poles that bind.
From the moment Mother Yin and Father Yang first lovingly united in their division, Polarity was born… and with it, a means to feel the invisible connectivity and infinite possibility between us all: Magnetism!
Or, said another way, checkout Creation explained by Stitch to his children (as per Stan’s request in the pod, as Magnetism gets an important shoutout!)
Behind all of your priorities, decisions, and daily ‘whatevers’, there is one question. A single, often unnerving, unknown — which dictates your daily grind and puppeteers a million other doubts and anxieties.
Amidst life’s innumerous uncertainties is a sole question… the soul question.
If you’re ready, then join Stan and Stitch as they play the part of philosophical Blues Brothers and cover the soul, man!
Bonus Content: Exploring the Soul of Hamilton, Rediscovering the Discoverers of America, Stitch discovers, in horror, that Stan gave him special drink after a fine dining experience that makes you poop without telling him… Beware of DJ Steve!
in the beginning:
a man of faith looked up and a man of science looked down…
both were too busy defending the truth they found…
but would have seen the same thing in another way had they only looked around.
My response to a debate thread on a board regarding “Why God Exists”…
Is God the Question…or Answer?
Debate: Why does God Exist
Because life is a fractal relationship between infinite micro and macrocosms; as above, so below; the good and bad we see in others is also in ourselves, and that inter-connectivity is also a reflection of what is more and what is less.
And that inter-connectivity manifests onward and upward, inward and outward, at an exponential rate and fractal shape.
The fractal is all encompassing, “we were created in His image” – and thus, we create in our image. Whether through genetics – or whether through innovative feats of exceeding our own brain processing power and storage.
Neither good nor bad – He is wholly holy and holy wholly; as we continue to perceive ourselves as finite pieces and not perceiving the infinite puzzle we are apart of.
The yin and the yang of infinite and finite create the infinite decimals between 0 and 1 — the gray area between “yes” and “no” — which enables us to experience… it sets the stage for polarity — and relativity, both scientifically and emotionally.
…it also sets the stage for making us perceive ourselves as ‘separate bodies’ from the greater body.
…we are afraid of the unknown, and yet, the unknown is only known by overcoming that very FEAR!
Alas, the inter-connectivity of all things across infinite microcosms, macrocosms, and ALL TIME echoes the same truth ‘time and time again’ — but we deafen our ears to these timeless truths because of FEAR – and our NEED to hang on to our individual puzzle piece… the need to validate our ego.
YET even that FEAR itself, which prevents us from seeing the truth that is quite literally in us (et al.), nonetheless REFLECTS the same TRUTH! Fear itself is made of the same structure all things are made of — it too is a series of micro and macrocosms. And for human beings, one of the most recognizable ‘macrocosms of fear’ to overcome — the overarching fear from which all our mortal fears stem from — is our FEAR OF DEATH! Our need, once again, to ‘hang on to our ego’ — the concept of what we are today — because we cannot perceive the world without us… We are afraid of the unknown….
Face your fear of death, and unveil the face of God.
…we are afraid of the unknown, and yet, the unknown is only known by overcoming that very FEAR! Overcome this chicken-and-egg circumstance by finding peace. Find peace through love. TRULY confront this fear and relinquish your individual puzzle piece to be one with the puzzle itself – and you will not only believe in God. You will know Him as you know yourself.
This particular fear binds together all fears in the worlds of time and timelessness. Face your fear of death, and unveil the face of God.
We are parts; we are connected; He is whole; We are one. Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN,
This letter came to you from the place you’ll soon find timelessness;
We hope you get the message… before there’s a need for writing it.
Hope… a redeeming quality which you had deemed too childish;
We were born to bring revival, but grown to be survivalists.
Saw you playing “Simon Says”; so we did as Simon did…
Only shown how to rock a boat, never how to right the ship.
Since innocence seemed ignorant, we sought our bliss from sciences;
Our character’s best measured by the depth of our one-sidedness.
Taught to win at any cost…. But when we lost, our fight would end.
So this time when you teach us, can you please try “try again”?
We have the drive of motorized rides equipped with nitrogen;
While working just as tireless as the hovercrafts we’re flying in.
And we were taught to dream, but not to sleep until retirement…
There’s no peace in counting sheep, while lyin in a lion’s den!
A pill for that, a pill for this; a pill so both will strike more quick;
A pill to help us swallow all the truth of our reliances…
Now we’re living even longer – thanks to stronger vitamins;
Our ignorance was thinking it’d bring incremental life with it!
A device for that, a device for this; a device to make devices quick;
So desensitized by devices, we don’t even see the vice in it…
Now we’re obnoxiously robotic, a product of our environment…
Great at catching breaks we’ll never make the time to fix.
A fight for that, a fight for this; a fight so that the fight exists;
Standing by our right for peace, we’ll never cease the fight for it!
What goes around comes around; we found the reason spite exists.
So you can pay the piper, and in time we’ll pay the piper’s kid….
Pride for that, pride for this; pride for pride we might omit;
Pride which is tightly clinched in a fist too mighty to be pried of it.
With a sense of entitlement stemming from senseless mindfulness;
You could find us in the darkest age, describing it as enlightenment.
Until one day: a device ended the fight, a pill killed off the viruses.
Loved winning; but having won – we didn’t take much pride in it.
Then suddenly, we were blinded by a liquid leaking out our irises!
Perplexed, we entered the question in our engine: “Why is this?”
Across every generation, the gap is bridged by righteousness. It was the first message off the presses when Gutenberg provided his. The trend reflects the plight of men, who rise then fall to rise again; But the cycle can recycle; there’s no wound that time won’t mend.
SO TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: Too few were too concerned…
But there’s still time to change your lesson plan, before our lesson’s learned.
Yours Truly, GENERATION ALPHA, EST 2010 Your future is our present, help us change it today.
an optimist?! NEGATIVE! just positively positive the secret of the universe relies upon the opposites for context in our populous, how competent are colleges? took a lot of ignorance to comprehend what knowledge is it’s a problem which is relative, its apparent we adopted it it’s extremely unique, so commonly it’s moderate. see the glass as half full with a modest bit of cockiness; but if ya never topped it off, the cup would still be bottomless.
without a winter would a summer even be a thing? if I never had a fall, would ya ever see me spring? it’s sink or swim; but what’s a swim without a sink? I think that I know – therefore I am, I think. we peak then plateau, and we gradually shrink no matter how far ya go, ya always on the brink.
Do you have the opposite problem? it’s likely it’s so: answer with yes, or no – it’s residing in both. a friend, or foe, above, below – in binary code the ebbs and flows, they come and go, a high and a low
we want yes without no, wanna know without lessons never had the answer, but want it without question seek some direction: east ‘n a south; north ‘n a west from chaos there is order, we’re an organized mess it’s simply complex, we want a grade without a test wanna win, no contest; wanna host? be my guest! every notion we protect, all the motions we object; are all perpetual at worst, and immoveable at best.
beauty is skin deep… but how shallow is sight? when beauty’s best seen by the beholder who’s blind can ya find an absent mind present in a moment of time? in some cases ya capitalize; others, lower than swine. but it takes both to take off – a case where all the pigs fly and its the lowest swine who go most high, hoggin the sky‼
Do you have the opposite problem? answer it wise: the answers black and white but may range from day to night no wrong or right, narrow or wide, just a demand to supply the secret’s too revealed to hide, so expect a surprise.
find depth in our shallowness, fulfillment in our hollowness our future leaders will rise from those who can follow this.
“Everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid” ~Albert Einstein
Genius is a title which is typically received long after the creative moment occurred. Here are 4 tips to maintain the creative genius which you WERE BORN WITH!
It is fun to reflect on and appreciate the technological advancements of our modern world, isn’t it? After all, most would comfortably agree that our society is at the apex of intellectual aptitude. However, is it fair to assume that the intelligence of our collective species implies the same for the individuals within it?
In a day where any and all information appears readily available at our fingertips, we are changing the way we utilize the very instrument which made it all possible! In a day where answers can be accessed as quickly as the question is asked, we are changing the way we store and retrieve information. We are changing the way we think!
When used correctly, the internet can substantiate a single minds ability to problem solve – when used incorrectly, however, it can stifle creativity and undermine the processing power of the mind.
With a basic understanding of how memory works, and a bit of, dare I say it, deductive reasoning, one can fathom how the rise in search engine usage is likely to correspond to an increase in dementia in the youth of our society.
With an open mind, consider how you can help future generations avoid further degeneration!
Many throughout history have alluded to the idea that if a large enough percentage of humanity “wished” for global peace simultaneously, that a lasting change could happen instantaneously. Skeptics and believers alike have a chance to be a part of a world-wide test of this theory TONIGHT, 12/12/12, at 9:30 PM EST.
A Single Moment, a Lasting Impact; An Individual Contribution to Global Change:
CHALLENGE: take a moment to think about the word “smiling”.
Think about it for a second longer.
NOW, try to think about the word “smiling” without actually physically smiling! If we’re honest with ourselves, one can almost feel the contention between “thinking one thing” and “doing the other”. That is how the video which introduces this world-wide ‘moment of peace’ begins:
Don’t believe in the power of prayer? How about statistics?
If you are still someone who has a hard time conceptualizing the inter-connectivity of all things, from yourself to the universe, from thought to action to physical manifestation — you are not alone.
As mentioned many times in this blog – at this point in our history, truth and lies are so intertwined in nearly every subject matter that it is hard to fully trust anything. This is particularly evident as many question the dogma of institutionalized religion. However, when science, spirituality, AND MATH actually converge to support a particular hypothesis – isn’t there some providence to the findings that should not be overlooked?
I have expanded on the “Universe You” concept in a series of articles, so will try not to digress further — BUT — it is important to note that several independent studies have measured the impact of group prayer and meditation, actually showing statistically significant drops in crime rates.
From your own personal experience – haven’t you ever walked into a room, or a party, which you felt, simply put, had a “bad vibe”? Haven’t you been around people who’d you classify as having a “magnetic personality”? Prayer, meditation, POSITIVE THOUGHT — after we get past the subtleties which differentiate them, they are really not so different at some juncture. If you believe that “starting your day on the right foot” leads to an, even ever-so-slightly, increased probability for a “good day” — as opposed to the days when you “wake up on the wrong side of the bed” — then are you sure you really have any reason to be skeptical with “this cause” at all?
If you ARE still skeptical, I do not blame you! After all, I epitomized the word ‘skeptic’ for many years even AFTER being aware of these so-called ‘studies’ — it takes time for an individual to “re-calibrate” their understanding. Look up the information, try to go into it your ‘research’ with an open mind, and discern for yourself.
HOWEVER – I will say, skeptical or not, take a moment at 9:30 PM to contribute a positive thought or two to a world which needs it! Worst case scenario — it certainly cannot hurt!! Best case scenario…. where would I begin and where would I stop?!
Let’s take a moment and see if we can’t surprise ourselves with the results.
I wish you all the best! Now — and at exactly 9:30 PM EST Tonight! 😉
