Materialism is a disease that has infested society since the dawn of time… It is important we work to recognize how it shapes the lives of ourselves and our loved ones.
It is also important to pay homage to your appliances which work ever so hard for you as the unsung heroes behind the scenes in your daily grind.
Have you considered the Unenviable Life of Washing Machines, and Materialism?
If you have, you probably should have done this podcast first…
If not… let’s consider the mystical and magnificent roles that both have in our day to day lives together!
“Measure the goodness of an individual…
…by their reaction time, to their own evil!”
“The GREATEST gift you can give to humanity?
Conquer your own Demons…
…so you do not pass them down to the next generation”
Want to improve the world? Improve yourself… the rest will follow.
Saying this prayer, OUT LOUD, (most) every night, is the single most important contributor to making me a (somewhat) better person than I used to be.
Lord, help me to be:
Courageous, Selfless, Loving,
Patient, Peaceful, Humble,

And help me to
Every small epiphany I have in life, I ‘assign’ to this prayer… Every time I say I’ll pray for someone, I assign it to “always remember”…. So every time I say it, in my heart, those folks share a piece of my prayer…
I also wear, thanks to my wife, a necklace with the word “REMEMBER” on it — so I remember to never forget ;).
What regrets would you have if today was the last day of your life?
What would you do different if, instead, you were given more time?
“While you’re busy complaining…
…that others don’t change;
They’re busy waiting…
…for you to do the same.”
“The Tallest Tree
once looked down upon
the ones smaller than he.”
Appreciate all that you have;
Be humble for all that you are.
Learn for yourself, not for the class;
And only strive to raise your own bar.
For all that you were & are just now;
Will inevitably, like all things, be struck down.
Ego is the useless residue left behind with all else removed.
“All the good & bad you see or do;
is a perfect reflection of you!”
or remain “ with out

We awake to a new day. There are new experiences to be had and new choices to make. It may sound liberating at first. Yet, we begin each morning by believing everything we’ve been trained to see; and there are no better slaves than the ones who are convinced they are free.

“The most aware of us

“The most important things in life are often the EASIEST to take for granted.”
This Thanksgiving, consider taking a moment to think about what you’re thankful for, then take a second moment to think again!
Often the most important things in our lives are things we’ve ALWAYS had, and those are often the things we tend to take for granted.
Sometimes we are so focused on where we are going that we are at risk of overlooking where we are and how we got there….
When you hear “Happy Thanksgiving”, let it remind you to:
be happy you have something to be thankful for
and thankful you have something to be happy about
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!
and Thank YOU! 😉
You learn more by becoming better than you do by remaining the best.
The ‘lose-lose’ situations. The ‘what-if’ mind games. The wavering. The anxiety. The regret of one choice made too quickly and another not quickly enough.
